Monday, March 20th:
Students create new acting games.
Grace created “Angel and Demon”
One to two actors mime a story as an “angel” narrates. The story is very sweet and filled
with very nice, good things.
When the story ends, the “demon” says, “On the other hand….”
And then narrates the same story but with really bad evil things occurring.

Friday, Monday 24th:
Copy your script out by hand. This will help you memorize your lines and in case you lose the script, then you will have a handy back-up!
Acting Exercise: Find a line in the script that captures who your character is - her issues, her needs, her objectives, the driving force in her life. Then standing in a circle, say the line with the same emotional intensity as your character would. If you do not have a scene yet, then say a line that reflects how you are thinking or feeling right now.
Emotional Cocktail with a twist - you are playing your character with your character's objectives, needs, and issues

If you are doing tech but are not acting in the show, then you need to find a scene to rehearse while we are working on Durang.
