Two simple lines from TWELFTH NIGHT are given to students to speak to each other in a variety of ways:
At a funeral
At the Grand Canyon
Like an opera

Tuesday, February 3rd:

Continue working with students on the auditions for TWELFTH NIGHT
Warm-ups!
Two Chairs exercise:
Two actors sit in a chair
One actor reads his line and keeps reading his line in different ways, until the other actor says, "I believe you."
The actor then moves on to the next line and and repeats the new line in different ways, until the other actor says, "I believe you."
Participants: Anton as Sir Toby Belch
This breaks the script down line by line: What does it mean? What are the emotional connections I have with these lines? Which words should be stressed?

Everyone pairs up and do the "two chair exercise" together.
