Khaleh and a white student (Polina) sitting in a salon chair
getting their hair done in corn rows; they get up and start walking down the
street, while a group of people walk past them – stylized – making rude
comments to Khalah about her hair, and then seeing the white student, making
positive, highly complimentary comments about the white student.

Obama’s Farewell Address is played.
As Obama’s farewell address is playing, the
people in hoodies lower their hands and place their hands over their hearts or
link hands together and say, “Black lives matter.”
