Monday, February 6th:
Work on Grace Lyde’s piece of “Sandra Bland”
Three people: Narrator, Sandra Bland, Cop
Shania has already blocked the scene
Rehearsed the “Sandra Bland” scene
Recorded it on phone for archival purposes
Polina needs pictures that will be used at the beginning to be sent to her for editing

Tuesday, February 7th: 

Worked on “Sandra Bland” and “Charles Kinsley”tableaux staging
But we decided to do “Philando Castile” instead of “Charles Kinsley”
Grace Lyde will write it tonight

Wednesday, February 8th:  



Grace read her scene on Tamir Rice

Shania is directing it

Luiza is assistant director – taking notes
Jose – playing the guy in the gazebo
Nona – playing Tamir Rice
Jose and Royer - cops

Tamir Rice:
It is a cold snowy day in the park. Tamir Rice, is a twelve year old boy, playing in the park with a black toy gun with the orange tip removed. A man is sitting in the park’s gazebo.  We hear the 911 phone call reporting there is a man in the park with a gun. We hear the sound of a car pulling up and two car door slamming.  Tamir jumps back when he hears the car drive up.  We see two men – undercover cops – jump  on stage with guns drawn.  They fire. Tamir Rice crumples in slow-mo.


Due tomorrow: 
Tell everyone to compile their music file and the list where the music should go in the line-up
